DR. CHAD CAYTON
Dr. Cayton is from Ahoskie, NC and currently lives in Tarboro, NC with his wife, Tiffany, their son, Shep, and their dogs Lady and Lucy. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from NC State University in 2004. He graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, PA with clinical honors, in 2008. Dr. Cayton completed his externships at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA, Carteret Vision Center in Morehead City, NC, Eye Care Associates in Raleigh, NC, and Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center located in Columbia, SC. Dr. Cayton practices primary eye care while specializing in contact lenses and ocular disease such as: glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye, diabetes, macular degeneration, and more. Outside of the office Dr. Cayton enjoys hunting, fishing, and supporting NC State athletics.
DR. SARAH TYSON
Dr. Tyson is from Windsor, NC and currently lives In Wendell with her husband, Matt, their sons, Walt and Everett, and their dog, Marley. She received her undergraduate degree at NC State University where she graduated with honors. She graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN with academic and clinical honors. She completed externships at The Eye Center at SCO in Memphis, the Joint Naval Base eye clinic in Goose Creek, SC, and at Holland and Holland Eye Care in Raleigh, NC. Dr. Tyson provides ocular health and vision care including glasses and contact lenses as well as diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eye disease, macular degeneration, and more. She enjoys traveling, supporting NC State athletics and spending time outdoors.
AMANDA BAILEY
Amanda is our Practice Manager. She lives in Rocky Mount with her husband Josh and their three dogs, Paisley, Maddie, and Waylon. She enjoys spending time at the beach, reading and enjoying quality time with her family and friends. You can find her around the office doing many things, such as assisting patients, helping coordinate the daily schedule of the office, performing aesthetic treatments and many other duties. She is certified in Tempsure-RF and Icon laser treatments.
MARIANELA LOPEZ
Marianela is Dr. Tyson’s optometric technician. She lives in Rocky Mount. She has a son, Leo and a dog, Oso. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and reading a good book. You can find her around the office performing ocular diagnostic tests, assisting patients, and translating for our Spanish speaking patients.
NATALIE LANIER
Natalie is our licensed Aesthetician and floating optometric technician. She lives in downtown Tarboro with her border collie, Holly. She enjoys reading a good thriller, gourmet baking and road-tripping. You can find her around the office doing facial/aesthetic treatments as well as performing ocular diagnostic tests on patients. She is certied in Potenza Microneedling, Tempsure-RF and Icon – IPL.
VICTORIA MODLIN
Victoria is our receptionist who greets and assists patients as the arrive at the office. She lives in Tarboro with her dog, Posie. She is a proud pirate alumni. She enjoys spending time at the beach finding seashells and taking frequent trips to chick fil a.
AMY MORRIS
Amy is our Insurance/Billing representative. She has been with Tarboro Eye Associates for over 10 years and has over 35 years’ medical office experience. She enjoys grilling out with friends, listening to beach music, and going to the beach. One of her favorite things about her job is working with a great group of people. She sees every day as a challenge. She finds it rewarding knowing that she has helped someone and taught them something along the way.
JEROME GRAHAM
Jerome is our licensed dispensing optician. He can be found in our Optical department assisting patients with the selection and fabrication of custom eyewear and contact lenses. Outside the office, Jerome enjoys photographing scenic vacation destinations with his family. Jerome is certified by the North Carolina State Board of Opticians and has been practicing Opticianry in the state since 1989.
CHRISTIAN GRAHAM
Christian is one of our Optical assistants. He can be found in the Optical department receiving/inspecting custom eyewear to ensure each pair meets our strict quality control standards. When not performing inspections, Christian is tasked with maintaining our beautiful selection of luxury, designer, and value priced eyewear. Outside the office Christian enjoys building custom gaming computers and watching classic episodes of Dr. Who.
JAIME GRANT
Jaime is one of our Optical assistants and Aesthetics technicians She can be found in the optical assisting patients with glasses and/or contacts selection or performing aesthetic procedures on patients. Outside of the office, Jaime enjoys spending time with her family and bowling. She is certified in Tempsure-RF and Icon Laser Treatments.
